    Help Me with My Walk!!!!!!!!!!

Wednesday, March 19, 2008, 07:33 AM EST [General]

    Dear Jamn People!

This year, I'll be participating in a very special event called the Breast Cancer 3-Day.

I'll walk 60 miles over the course of three days with thousands of other women and men. The net proceeds will support breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment through Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund.

I've agreed to raise at least $2,200 in donations. I know I can raise even more than that, So I need your help. Would you please consider making a donation? Keep in mind how far I'm walking - and how hard I'll have to train. You can donate online at http://www.the3day.org/. Just click on Donate Now and search for my personal fundraising page. Or fill out the enclosed donation form and mail it to the address on the form. You can also call 800.996.3DAY to donate over the phone. My info is Andrea Pinilla ID number is: 1787967, and my team's name is "Pretty In Pink and Billy"

According to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, more than 200,000 American women will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, and nearly 40,000 will die from the disease. That's why I'm walking so far. To do something bold about breast cancer. I hope that you'll share this incredible adventure with me by supporting me in my fundraising efforts.

Thank you in advance for your generosity!

    Sincerely,
    Andrea

P.S. Ask your employer if they will double your donation through a matching gift program.

    My Son!

Friday, November 30, 2007, 09:52 AM EST [General]

    MY SON

The day he was born was miraculous.
He was a gift, he was gleaming!
He seemed so peaceful and so flawless.
He was the dream I had been dreaming!

    With each charming action,
Each day he greatened my love,
    He produced more admiration.
He was so pure, like a dove!

As a child he played vigorously.
At his desk, he worked with attention.
    He tried to learn continuously.
In a word, he was an exception!

As a man he's full of distinction.
Now he has his own family.
To his siblings, he shows admiration.
He likes to help others gracefully!

This man of grandeur, this son of mine,
    Gives me extreme pleasure!
When I look at him, I see him shine.
He is my very own treasure!

    My Daughter

Friday, November 30, 2007, 09:36 AM EST [General]

    My Daughter

You'll never really know, my dear,
Just how much you mean to me,
A mother's love, buried so deep,
That only my heart can see.

When I sit and really stare at you,
All I can do is grin,
    Somewhere down deep inside,
    I see myself within.

I'd never change a thing in you,
I thank God that your so fine,
Even when your at your worst,
I'm so proud that you are mine.

    The roads we have traveled,
    were not always that good,
I would take back all the pain you've felt,
    Only if I could.

I know that I'm not perfect,
It's the best that I can do,
But everyday, I thank the lord,
For a daughter as special as you.
