Mariah performed on Goood Morning America last week and had some technical difficulties. Yo!! They threw the book at ya boy Wesley Snipes. The prosecution said they were going for the max to make an example and they got what they wanted. Snipes was sentenced to 3 YEARS in jail because of tax evasion. Even his friends Denzel Washington and Wood Harrelson couldn't help him out. They wrote letters to the judge, but it didn't matter. Snipes maintained he was duped by his accountants; they were sentenced to 10 years & 4 years.
Here is what he was accused of doing:
Trying to conceal $41 million in off shore accounts, falsely applying for tax refunds and bombarding the IRS with frivolous documents. Dang
In NYC the verdict of Sean Bell was handed down and once again the Po-Pos come off clean. Not Guilty of all charges. 50 bullets were shot at Sean Bell, who was to be killed on his wedding day in 2006. If you haven't heard the story, click the link below.
One of the suspects in the Jam Master Jay shooting was sentenced to 17 years in prison earlier this week for a series of robberies. Ronald "Tinard" Washington was allegedly involved in the plot to murder the legendary Run DMC Dj. Prosecutors sought a lengthier sentence because of Washington's prior crimes including his confession about Jam Master Jay.
The other suspect in JMJ's murder is still at large.

Looks like prayer worked for ya girl Foxy Boogie Brown. She avoided jail yesterday for the drama that took place down in a beauty supply store in Florida. Foxy, whose real name is Inga Marchand, will srve six months probation adn perform 15 hours of community service. She also has to write letters of apology to the store employee she hit with a tube of hair glue.
The store, Queen Beauty Supply has a civil suit againt Foxy as well. They tryin' to get some of cheddar homegirl has stashed. LOL
J-Leezy in the latest celeb to get her own reality show. She and Hubby Marc Anthony will take it to the small screen on TLC as cameras document J-lo's lauch of a new fragrance while trying to balance work and motherhood. TLC president Angela Shapiro-Mathes say

Rapper/Actor Ice-T will be producing a documentary about his name's inspiration, Iceberg Slim. Slim was a pimp for 35 years, involved in prostitution and crime, but later turned his life around as a writer. No date on when the production will begin.
